Joshua’s House

Okay, so I haven’t given any updates in a while. I have been so crazy busy with finals, but here’s the 411 on what’s been going on with Joshua’s House. I have been contacting a lot of people and we have started reciving stories to post online! That’s exciting.

I have also been in contact with people at united way. I am going to take a class in January about starting a 501(c)(3) business (non-profit). I am also going to be using their library, and they are going to be hooking me up with all sorts of resources. I am so excited about this, and hopefully I’ll get a lot accomplished over break.

It’s official, Joshua’s House is my practicum project, so I will have more time to devote to the ministry, which is really nice. Next semester I will be taking fund development (that’s the one thing that’s really getting in the way of moving forward right now), and creative writing for Joshua’s House. The creative writing class will hopefully help me with story writing for Joshua’s House.
